This size nut is used in a lot of places on the Mini and are exposed to the worst possible conditions on the road. I've seen them used on the bumpers, front seat mounts, front seat rails underneath the car, and boot hinges.

I've looked all across the net for this type nut in titanium and I'm the only one selling them. They're uses extensively on classic British cars like Jaguar, MG, Austin, Rover.
